For non-contact industrial marking, Markem-Imaje primarily offers CIJ – Continuous Inkjet technology designed for high-speed printing on production lines. Common and current series include Markem-Imaje 9018, 9028, 9330, 9450, 9450 E, 9450 S, 9750, 9750+, 9750 E and 9750 Expert Series. Individual models differ in printing speed, printhead configuration, supported inks and target applications. Inks, make-up and wash fluids for Markem-Imaje
Markem-Imaje inkjet printers use specialized inks, make-up fluids and wash/cleaning fluids. The correct choice depends on the printer model, substrate and required marking properties. Common ink codes include MB088, 5542, 9570 and 9241, covering alcohol, ketone and combined alcohol/ketone variants. Depending on the ink system, matching make-up fluids include 8199, 5652, 5198, 5199 and 5661. The range is complemented by corresponding wash and cleaning fluids for maintenance of the printhead, nozzles and ink circuit. Compatibility of the ink, make-up and wash fluid with the specific Markem-Imaje printer model must always be respected.

Older and legacy Markem-Imaje printers
Alongside current model ranges, older generations of Markem-Imaje inkjet printers remain in operation. For customers with older installed equipment, we therefore also supply consumable fluids according to the original printer designation and the fluid currently in use. Older and legacy ranges include especially the 9000 and 9200 generations and the specialized 9030 Series; older models preceding today’s 9400 and 9700 ranges are also still encountered. If you use an older MARKEM-IMAJE printer, send us the exact model designation and the code of the current ink, make-up or wash fluid. We will verify a suitable and available consumable for the specific device.
